MediOrbis™ Announces Text and Messaging Based Encounters Are Now Available on Its Proprietary Telehealth Platform

Activated for Telemedicine Programs Including General Telemedicine and Longitudinal and Chronic Disease Management for Self-Insured Employers, Private and Government Payers & Providers Worldwide

MediOrbis, a multi-specialty telehealth company with comprehensive specialty telemedicine services and chronic disease management (CDM) programs, introduces expanded telehealth platform capabilities and access to care with messaging-based encounters. Effective immediately, MediOrbis will now offer an additional communication modality in addition to the traditional encounters conducted over video and phone. Already providing asynchronous messaging capabilities, the MediOrbis platform will now support synchronous chat – based encounters to increase access to care for patients who either prefer messaging or do not have phone or video capabilities in their current state. This function will be accessible on its recently enhanced web and mobile apps.
